Why did the Articles of Confederation fail?
The Articles of Confederation only lasted about ten years from 1778 to 1788. Although it was ratified in 1781 it was still in the process of being written from the year 1778, but was later replaced by the current United States Constitution in 1788. The Articles of Confederation served as the "first" Constitution between thirteen states that had fought in the American Revolution. The Articles had some strengths, but more weaknesses. For example, each state only had one vote in congress regarding its size and in order for laws to pass they required a 9/13 majority to pass. As long with other strict rules and some that didn't make any sense the Articles of Confederation were abolished in 1788 and rewritten by government officials.

Blog Entry,
If there was no government, society would be in complete chaos all the time. The first thing many people would be worried about is not having the police to protect them. If everyone was their own police things such as killing, raping, and looting would be legal. As bad as the United States is now with murders, drugs, and illegal doings the last thing we need is not to have a government watching over us and enforcing the laws.Even though they seem like they don't do much but spend money is not true. They protect the citizens of the United States and are always wanting the best for us.
Personally I am a responsible and work hard individual so if the government ever went down the tubes i would be able to fend for myself. It wouldn't be myself that I would be worried about, it'd be all the gangbangers and druggies looking for money or stuff to barter with. Even with the government, people are afraid to go to sleep at night because their afraid someones going to break into either their house or car. Its truly a shame that people have to go around and steal things in order to put food on the table and clothes on their back.
Humans organized governing bodies primarily because they didn't want people walking around and doing things as they pleased. Not having a Government would ruin many people, business, and the youths future. As bad as the Government seems and the bad rep it has, if we didn't have a set of rules to follow and a constitution to abide by this country would be a complete mess.
